Recently, i2Cool showcased electricity-free cooling technology at Hong Kong’s two major technology and environmental exhibitions—InnoCarnival and Eco Expo Asia—demonstrating the innovative achievements of electricity-free cooling technology.
At the exhibitions, we showcased the innovative energy-saving cooling solution and set up an interactive experience zone, allowing visitors to engage directly with our cutting-edge technology. This interactive approach attracted numerous attendees eager to experience the technology firsthand. During InnoCarnival, many citizens expressed that this “up-close” method provided them with a more intuitive understanding of green and energy-efficient technologies.
At Eco Expo Asia, i2Cool engaged in face-to-face interactions with global visitors and industry partners, highlighting the diverse applications of electricity-free cooling technology in construction, industry, and everyday life.
These two major events also served as highlight activities celebrating the 75th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China. i2Cool is honored to present its green innovations at such significant occasions, contributing to technological advancement and the achievement of China’s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.

Public Science Activities
Empowering Science Education in Universities and Enterprises
From October 26 to November 3, the "InnoCarnival 2024" organized by the Innovation and Technology Commission was held at the Hong Kong Science Park. With the theme "Let‘s Sail with Innovation and Technology" the event featured numerous local innovative inventions and research achievements from Hong Kong. Spanning nine days, this citizen science event included interactive games, lectures, and innovation workshops, enabling the public to understand the close relationship between scientific innovation and daily life.
At the opening ceremony, Financial Secretary of Hong Kong Paul Chan Mo-po stated that for local scientific innovation to thrive, it is essential to enhance the overall scientific literacy of society. The carnival serves as an excellent opportunity to promote science education among the general public, inspiring interest in scientific innovation and fostering more talent to contribute to Hong Kong and the Mainland Chinese.
Professor Sun Dong, the Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, emphasized in his speech that Hong Kong’s universities and research institutions are the backbone of the scientific innovation ecosystem. The innovative achievements exhibited by participating organizations each year provide excellent science education for the public.

Enjoying the Fun of Science in a Relaxed Atmosphere
As one of the innovative startups incubated under CityUHK's HK Tech 300 program and Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks, i2Cool participated in this year’s carnival showcased our technology in both CityUHK Pavilion and HKSTP Pavilion.
The carnival featured a lively atmosphere, with adults, children, and student groups all enjoying the fun of scientific innovation in a relaxed setting. i2Cool showcased its series of electricity-free cooling products, including electricity-free cooling paints and films, demonstrating the technology principles and tangible effects through interactive displays.
Eco Expo Asia
Promoting Green Innovation Technology
From October 30 to November 2, Eco Expo Asia was held at the Hong Kong AsiaWorld-Expo. This year’s expo was co-hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Messe Frankfurt (Hong Kong) Limited, with support from the Environment and Ecology Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR.
Following a summer marked by record-high temperatures worldwide, the climate crisis has become increasingly severe. This expo, themed "Fostering Green Innovations for Carbon Neutrality" aims to call on countries to collaborate in addressing climate change, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and accelerating the achievement of carbon neutrality.
Eco Expo Asia is one of Hong Kong’s most promising and important environmental exhibitions, attracting over 300 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions, as well as representatives from government, business, and academia. The expo showcased cutting-edge energy-saving technologies and explored collaborative solutions to address global environmental challenges.
Driving Green Innovation Technology
Accelerating the Path to Carbon Neutrality
At the opening ceremony, Secretary for Environment and Ecology of Hong Kong, Tse Chin-wan, stated that green innovation technology is crucial for carbon reduction efforts. Eco Expo Asia allows us to witness the latest scientific and technological innovations from around the world in areas such as new energy, climate change mitigation, and other environmental fields.
He also emphasized that although Hong Kong peaked in carbon emissions in 2014, achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 remains a significant challenge. The Hong Kong SAR is accelerating its green, low-carbon transformation and developing new energy sources, high-quality productivity, and green research industries through various initiatives, thereby steering Hong Kong toward carbon neutrality.
Architecture Applications Attract Wide Attention
Originating from Hong Kong’s vibrant tech innovation landscape, i2Cool remains committed to promoting the application of electricity-free cooling technology across various fields, ensuring more people understand and benefit from this innovative technology, and showcasing Hong Kong’s scientific innovation strength.
At the expo, i2Cool demonstrated the application of electricity-free cooling technology in green buildings, introducing its series of electricity-free cooling products and their application principles to numerous visitors, attracting widespread attention. During the exhibition, not only were delegations from Chinese Mainland present, but also multiple delegations from ASEAN and Belt and Road countries (including Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam, and Brunei) visited the expo to gain in-depth knowledge of innovative technologies and discuss related technologies and cooperation opportunities.
