i2Cool collaborated with The Green Earth to apply electricity-free cooling paint (iPaint) to the rooftop of Lions College in Kwai Chung, reducing the surface temperature by 20°C and the indoor temperature by 2°C. Co-founder Dr. Martin Y. ZHU also conducted an ESG workshop to introduce the principle and application of electricity-free cooling technology, aiming to inspire students' interest in scientific research and raise awareness of green development and environmental protection.
With support from the Lee Hysan Foundation, i2Cool applied electricity-free cooling paint (iPaint) to subdivided units in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong, effectively reducing indoor temperatures. At present, the paint has been applied to the roofs of 9 buildings, with a total application area of nearly 2,000 ㎡. After application, each household can save 100–200 Hong Kong dollars on electricity costs, enhancing the summer living experience for nearly 100 households in subdivided units.
i2Cool sponsored the Green Innovation Challenge Competition 2023 hosted by City University of Hong Kong, providing exclusive sponsorship and vital technical support. The initiative aimed to cultivate environmental awareness and innovation among young individuals, inspiring middle school students to develop creative solutions for green environmental protection and contribute their youthful insights to sustainable development goals.
While the Farm's container office offers a comfortable environment for the elderly, the heat-conducting materials used often lead to indoor heat accumulation and increased temperatures during strong sunlight in summer. We supplied Y Farm for Healthy Ageing in Hong Kong with electricity-free cooling paint (iPaint), applied to the outer surface of containers to lower indoor temperatures.
