Residential Building in Sham Shui Po (Public Welfare Project)

Between June and August 2023, record heat in Hong Kong forced Sham Shui Po residents to rooftop units to endure extreme temperatures. i2Cool and the Lee Hysan Foundation applied iPaint Architecture to these rooftops, reducing indoor heat and improving AC efficiency. Residents saw monthly electricity bills drop by HKD 100-200 ($13-26 USD), easing their financial burden and improving their quality of life.
